From the Tech-Simplified Desk of Rucheli:
Welcome back to another edition of Systeme.io Sundays! π
I'm still riding the high from last week's workshop - it was INCREDIBLE! So many of you joined our "7 Days to Launch" workshop and then hopped right into our Design Build Scale program and are now on your way to getting your tech DONE and your online business LAUNCHED in as little as 7 days!
(If you missed the excitement, don't worry - keep your eyes peeled on your inbox... my birthday is on Tuesday, and I've got an incredible present coming your way! π)
Today we're diving into creating your first email sequence in Systeme.io, plus I'm sharing a brand new feature that just might convince you to ditch your current calendar booking tool. Let's simplify some tech, shall we?
TL;DR for this week:
Had an INCREDIBLE workshop last week with many joining Design Build Scale to launch their biz in 7 days!
My birthday is Tuesday - watch your inbox for a special present for YOU!
Step-by-step guide to creating your first Systeme.io email sequence (no tech tears required)
NEW FEATURE ALERT: Systeme.io now lets you set minimum notice periods for calendar bookings (goodbye Calendly/TidyCal!)
Last night, I was watching my 10-year-old build this elaborate LEGO creation. He had all the pieces scattered around him, instruction manual open, and this look of pure concentration on his face.
And it hit me - this is EXACTLY how most people approach building their first email sequence!
Pieces everywhere, desperately following instructions, hoping it all connects properly, and praying you don't lose any important parts along the way.
But here's the thing - building an email sequence doesn't have to feel like assembling a 1,500-piece LEGO Death Star with half the instructions missing.

When I was a software engineer, I'd often build these complex systems with multiple moving parts. But the secret wasn't in making things complicated - it was in breaking them down into simple, repeatable steps.
And that's exactly what we're going to do with your email sequence today.
Creating Your First Email Sequence in Systeme.io (The No-Tears Method)
Step 1: Navigate to the "Campaigns" section under the "Emails" tab in your Systeme.io dashboard.
Step 2: Click the "Create" button to start a new campaign.
Step 3: In the pop-up, add a name for your campaign, choose your sender email address, and add an optional description.
Step 4: Click "Save" to create your campaign (you'll get a confirmation message).
Step 5: Click on your campaign name to open it, then click "Create" to add your first email.
Step 6: Fill in the email details:
Subject line
Sender name
Sender email
Choose between Classic editor (simple) or Visual editor (drag-and-drop)
Step 7: Create your email content using your chosen editor.
In Classic editor: Type your content, add variables if needed, format text
In Visual editor: Use drag-and-drop elements similar to the page builder
Step 8: Once your email is ready, click "Save and Publish"
Step 9: Configure when this email should be sent:
Set the delay (blank for right after they subscribe or choose the previous email)
Choose specific times when the email can be sent
Select days of the week when it should be sent
Step 10: Repeat steps 5-9 for each email in your sequence!
BOOM! You've just created your first email sequence! π
Now, if you're in our Design Build Scale program, you already know we make this even easier. We literally hand you a one-click install nurture sequence that imports directly to your Systeme.io account. Then we give you our custom AI bot that writes the ENTIRE thing for YOUR niche and YOUR offers.
(It's like having me sitting next to you, but without having to share your snacks.)
And if you're NOT in our Design Build Scale program yet, just a reminder to keep an eye on your email this Tuesday so I can send ya a Birthday gift ;)
If you've been hanging onto TidyCal, Calendly, or another booking tool because Systeme.io's calendar wasn't quite robust enough... it's time to reconsider!
Systeme just released a feature that many of us have been waiting for: you can now set a minimum notice period for calendar events!
Here's why this is a game-changer:
No more last-minute bookings when you're in the shower or making dinner
Gives you proper time to prepare for calls
Helps maintain your boundaries and sanity
How to set it up:
1. Go to your calendar events in Systeme.io
2. In the "Availability" section of your event setup, look for "Minimum notice period"
3. Set your preferred amount of time (minutes, hours, or days)
For example, if you set a 2-hour notice period with availability from 8 AM to 5 PM, someone trying to book at 8 AM will only see slots starting from 10 AM or later.
I'm literally migrating ALL my calendar events from TidyCal to Systeme's calendar this week now that this feature is available. It was the last thing I was waiting for, and it makes switching a total no-brainer!
I've recorded a quick over-the-shoulder walkthrough of the migration process that you can watch here: https://youtu.be/NlYnhcgtzQs
After our live coworking session in the Simple Systems Society this week, one of our members shared this win:

THIS is what it's all about! That feeling when your tech actually works and delivers your value to your audience automatically is absolutely priceless. Remember - every tech win brings you one step closer to a business that runs smoothly (even while you sleep!).
π§ Tech Simplification Challenge
This week, I challenge you to audit your current email marketing setup:
1. How many steps does it take you to create and schedule an email?
2. Are you using separate tools for different types of emails?
3. Could you consolidate everything into Systeme.io for a more streamlined workflow?
Take 15 minutes to map this out, and you might be surprised at how much simpler things could be!
And get ready for next week - we're kicking off a mini-series on Sales Funnel strategy, starting with the only 3 types of funnels you really need. (Spoiler alert: you don't need 27 different funnels like some gurus might tell you!)
What's one tech task related to email marketing that you've been putting off? Please comment down below and let me know - I love hearing from you!
