Lead magnets work the same way. They're your digital mozzarella stick - a small, valuable offering that makes people think, "Hmm, if their free stuff is this good, I wonder what their paid stuff is like!"
But here's where most coaches go wrong (and I've been guilty of this too):
1. Creating lead magnets WE think are valuable instead of what our AUDIENCE needs
2. Making them too complicated or time-consuming
3. Focusing on information instead of transformation
4. Creating generic freebies that don't connect to our paid offers
After 10+ years as a software engineer and 6+ years in the online space, I've learned that the best lead magnets follow a simple formula:
Solve ONE specific problem + Deliver quick wins + Point toward your paid solution = Email list that actually converts

The best lead magnets I've seen convert for my members in the Simple Systems Society and from my Design Build Scale students are:
• Quick-Start Guides: 1-2 page PDFs that solve an immediate problem
• Checklists/Templates: Done-for-you resources that save time
• Mini-Workshops: 20-30 minute trainings that deliver one specific result
• Challenges: 3-5 day experiences that build community while delivering value
• Quizzes: Interactive experiences that provide personalized insights
The secret? They're all SPECIFIC, ACTIONABLE, and SIMPLE to consume.

Once you've created that irresistible lead magnet, you need to actually get it into people's hands! Here are the two easiest ways to deliver it with Systeme.io:
